About me

I was born in Beijing, China. When I was young, I was very good at drawing. Although I had never took any drawing class, I could draw some really interesting things. I was also very interested in computer and new technology. So one day I realized that maybe I could be a computer software designer!

After I graduated from college, I joined a Chinese search engine company as an UI designer. At beginning, I was only in charge of designing some simple stuff, such as advertising materials, banners, or event pages. On the third year, I was promoted to senior web designer. 

Although I designed lots of good websites for my company during these three years, I realized that maybe I can do something more. So I quit my job and started a design company with one of my designer friend. I’ve gained lots of valuable experience during this period. As I involved in the business, I realized that I need to handle all sorts of things in order to succeed. I’m proud to say that our product had reached 200,000 daily PV. However, we still could not find a way to make money from the product. It made me realized that I still have a lot of things to learn. Therefore, I decided to quit from the company and go back to school. 

I thought Silicon valley is a great place to learn the latest web design knowledge. So here I am.
